One of my friends rested her head on my shoulder briefly at church yesterday while we were sitting listening in on a Q & A forum. I instantaneously turned into a wooden plank riddled with anxiety. My thoughts went something like this:
WHhhaaat is happening?!
How long is this going to last?
What am I supposed to do?
Do I pat you on the head? 
I think I”m going to uncomfortably laugh soon.
Maybe if I”m very still I will disappear.
Oh, good, it’s over. Remain calm, don’t move, act normal, breath regularly. Don’t be an F-ing weirdo now.
